Yes JJ & Dave are irreplacable
The thought of The Stranglers without Jet!
I suppose I would rather have The Stranglers without Jet than no Stranglers. The band could easily continue for anither 10 years, but that would make Jet 78! So can't see that happening.
One of many amazing things about Suite XVI is Jet's Drumming - Its phenomonal!

As i posted in my review of the Aberdeen gig, how he can do 1 and a half hours of drumming in that heat is amazing.
There's plenty of life in the old dog yet.

What a load of BOLLOCKS! Why do people even think this? must have way too much time on their hands.
There was some nutter asking on this very forum if we would still go and see The Stranglers without any of the original members.
WTF?
NO. It is NOT The Stranglers without the original members.

As long as there was one original member it may not be the Stranglers but we'd still go and see them...works for Hugh. And it hasn't been "the Stranglers" since 1990....by the way what are we voting on here?

a mate of mine saw doctor feelgood at the burnley mechanics venue last saturday. he thought they were ace, his son (who's seeing the stranglers tonight) thought they were crap.
tickets were £15 each and they only sold about 250 out of 500.

To dumb it down even more, another question then-
Who wouldn't go see the Dave Greenfield Band if and when?
And another question, what do you think they would be called?
Some suggestions-
The Dave Greenfield Orchestra
The Dave Greenfield Big Band
The Amazing Cosmic Sounds of Mr.David Greenfield
Massive Swelling Organ
or just simply,
Dave

I'd go and see him - I like the way he plays on his massive swelling organ in front of everyone
Yeah I know I'll get me coat - That came out all wrong (As my wife said last night)
