I've argued this one too many times mate- the Stranglers themselves have much better self penned songs, from an amazing back catalogue of their own, that would be well worth sacrificing All Day for.

i'd bin them all so many songs to play that are alot more interesting.
no one has heard of the stranglers anymore ,who? is all i get.
in the 40 to oap age group near enough everyone has heard of them.
what you have is a captive audience hugh realised this & is now playing to bigger crowds .
he held out for years a very strong resolve in not playing any strangs material but then realised perhaps i hould listen to what people want.
now if the stranglers played what the fans wanted then perhaps word would spread and more of the captive audience would come back to see them?
just a thought not negative an idea get it.

Agree with Gizz about NMH but it's the perfect finishing track for the casual fans, so I think it's there to stay.

Definately ALL DAY AND ALL OF THE NIGHT..I do like the song but it would make room for either an older song that hasn't been played for a while or maybe even a new song..

Also i would drop GOLDEN BROWN and maybe PEACHES - certainly for a while anyway..

I doubt if Golden Brown or Peaches will be dropped as they generally get the biggest cheers particularly from people who only go to an occaional gig

Hello all, this is my first post. Like most here of all those songs i wish theyd drop most it would have to be ADAAOTN, ive seen them play 5 times now and every time theyve played it. It was recorded purely as a money spinner in the first place so why play it live? I dont think they should play any covers live to be honest, theyve got dosens of superior self written songs to choose from which rarely get a look in.

My personal choices ot resurrect live would be- Sweden, Baroque Bordello, Ice, Four Horsemen, Second Coming, Who Wants the World, Everybody Loves you when youre dead and All roads lead to rome.
