Prolly where we stayed before.... only I can't remember the hotel, other than it was a mile or two away, and was really nice.

The other people with us, one of them is since banned from this site, I lost touch with him since... Manna Machine? We had a great giggle... him and his mate - but afterwards - my wife gave what for in the Indian a couple of doors along. It was atrocious Indian food: she told them in no uncertain terms! I mean, if they served that slosh daan here, they'd be burned out alive!

Goldblade were magnificent that night and I lost my voice in John's mic... I was fortunate enough to meet nickinblack and his missus, and I saw you, Real One.... although I didn't know who you were. You weren't registered here by then - only subsequently.

That was the hottest gig I'd been to in many years! Goldblade were spot on that night. You just remembered the red boots.....

This time I'm staying at the Brittania. Terrible dearth of decent hotels nearby - this is the best of a bad lot and I don't fancy schlepping all the way over to Brum.

I'm going - ordered my ticket the day they went on sale.

Cant quite remember the name of the hotel i stayed last year - Park View ? - something like that. There were a few other Strangs fans staying there. Looked it up when i booked my ticket, but their prices were a lot higher than last time, so stopping at the Fox Hotel this time. Doesn't look brilliant, but hell, all i want is a bed for a few hours.

Curiosity got the better of me, and had to find out the name of the place I stayed last time so did a search - it was the Park Hall Hotel. Appears to be fully booked.

stopped in the haven last time, it's a mile or so from the centre and a bit on the cheep and cheerful side, but they have a bar!

That real ale pub The Olde White Rose is supposed to be good.It's about 600 yards from The Robin.Aint bin in,but I've heard good reports.Would suit Jim's early starters.

I thought it was Woody's before hand? Or are there two different camps meeting up? Am I going to be castigated because I joined one and not the other or will I end up running between the two in a desparate attempt to see everyone?
Maybe we should put up a list of who will be where at what time?

What about The Olde White Rose to begin with for anyone in Bilston 5ish,then moving up to Woodys later from about 7 onwards.Just an idea.I know I can't get to Bilston till 8,so will go straight to Woodys.
