The sun king the XIVth gave something special about his gardens, the day you'll come to visite his castle, pm me I will lead you & your people to the secret paths forbidden. And I'll left you overthere, we'll keep in touch by mobiles just in case.
The Brief adventure I got was when I manage to open one hidden gate, walk through trees so tight that I could hardly make a step and after that far from the crow around : we found ourselves in a little park, with cliffs, spring and statues taking their bath they were so real, we doubted it. So I open the second gate at a cave's feet, we climbed and then in the inner another scene of statues having the gestures, the expressions you know with that gaze the sculptor conceives, so that at any angle you are from the statue, it looks at you.
Then my friend who was the man, ask me to listen but it was already the end of the sound, and the coach had past away but the distance was too long for it to disappear that fast, it was simply impossible but it did. I'm not kidding and we hadn't smoke before.
After that we ran into books relating same kind of experiences/appearances at Versailles' gardens. And after the Da Vinci code came (but I stopped the inquiry just before, because of my sanity).

Louis XVI and his head offered to the revolution. Why ?

What part of France do you live in? We are heading off to Aigues Mortes this year to see where my Mum was born. She lived in Montpellier and I have not been to the South for many years.

Are those gardens at Versailles?

I lived one year ago at 5 minutes from versailles and uses to bike in those gardens.
By now I use 2 places to live, mostly in the contryside south of Paris (3 quarters to reach the center of the big shitty) in ancient village with a van delivering every day the bread ; and in Provence (1/2 hour from Vaison La Romaine, 1h30 from Gap city of the Hautes Alpes) in an ancient village too among little mountains with eagles to check us on.
Aigues Mortes is very nice, if you got time, pay a visit to Arles. You can also have a ride on horses along the wild beach (not too expensive). Nîmes worth the seeing too (and a famous feast overhere thrice a year with taurus deployed in the city's streets and red wine every where to drink (sometimes for free) it's called "La feria de Nîmes" (one has just taken place a couple of days ago). Montpellier is less interesting but there's a confortable beach crowded though, and places dedicated to bars with space enough for everybody to drink and chat outside. Maybe I'm a little negative overlooking that city because I squatted overthere and had a fight with a punk girl who was willing to nike my creepers, and I was so drunk it was hard to manage but I kept my shoes.
And that summer, The Stranglers normally play in a festival in the south.
If by any chance I'm overthere when you travel not too far from my village, we could have a walk, a chat, a drink, a meal a little meeting I will be pleased with.
