Anyone like the Editors?I am off to see Editors at Frome tomorrow night (yes that same lovely old Frome venue that gave us all so many happy memories last year....). This will be my second Editors gig - I saw them live in Bristol last year - and they are a great band live and they possess some killer toons.
Does anyone else like them or will I be in Bruce Springsteen-esque tumbleweed territory again on this one??

Don't really know any of their stuff, Sam, but will be visiting a mate this weekend who I know has seen them several times, so I'll ask him to burn me some tunes.
Don't forget to give us the ever-professional journo review afterwards.

Never saw them live myself but have a few tunes on the Ipod, like Munich, blood, Fingers in the Factories and Bullets from the first album, all really good tracks I have to say

Yeah one of the better bands coming through, very retro sounding.
They sound very much like Joy Division in places, and a touch like the Bunnymen....also a bit of Stranglers in there.

You are a very lucky bunny Saminblack! Editors - as they are rightly named - - are top bananas! Great band - basic - guitar, bass, guitar and drums. Dogs bollox.
All Sparks is my fave, closely followed by Lights and Munich. What about you?
My only gripe is I just wish their two albums had TWO albums full of great trax and not 4 and 4... Have a good nite at the Cheesey Grain.

A truly awful band, nearly as bad as Simply Red, Phil Collins, Muse, Marillion etc.
