Re: 4MHI've tried creams but the doc says the only cure is 4MH gigs and I have a repeat prescription!

Right ok all kidding aside that must be near 2 years the lads have been resting their instruments, is there absolutely no way we can get 4mh back on the road or is it a lost cause ?

Spoke to Jon today and there's still an opportunity there but it seems to be taking a while due to other commitments etc.

Terry I reckon they should do a gig maybe end of this year early next for family and friends - if this happened you'd be invited I'm sure
Stumbled across a great version of Sometimes the other week of theirs - remind me at the weekend and I'll dig it out and upload

Much appreciated Jim, i've got some great memories of seeing 4MH, remember travelling down to Kilmarnock one cold and wet night to see them with the missus, hardly anybody in the stinking venue they played and to top it the guys didn't come on until about 1 oclock in the morning, i met Jon a few months later at a stranglers gig in Glasgow and he told me that was one of the weirdest gigs they had ever played, still even with the distractions they were brilliant that night

Yeah, I've got memories of some good times at Sleazys in Glasgow too. I remember it was such a blast hearing them the first time, when i hadn't really listened to the Stranglers for a few years, certainly not their later incarnation. It was truly one of those "close your eyes and it could be the Stranglers" nights. I think I was grinning from ear to ear by the end.
Aye, It'd be good to do that again.

Is there any realistic chance of the guys getting together for a gig this year do you think Jim?
It would be great if it came off as seeing hugh in october(in manchester and glasgow) and for the first time in about 10 years going to see the stranglers(in glasgow), seeing 4MH would make it a really great end to the year for gigs.
